The semester continues with a steady pace, but we are mindful that many across the globe are facing seasons of deep conflict and trial. In times of global uncertainty, we find that our resilience does not come from our own strength, but from being anchored in the steadfastness of Christ. While the world around us may feel turbulent, He remains our 'ever-present help.' May Christ be the anchor of our hope.
High School FLAG Week
Middle School Camp Week
What an incredible week of spiritual emphasis! While our High School students attended FLAG (Forever Learning About God) Week, our Primary and Middle School students headed out for Camp Week.
This time was a powerful time of bonding and exploring God’s Word in nature. We saw amazing engagement as students applied Biblical truths through hands-on activities and devotionals. Thank you for your prayers—we are so grateful for the transformative moments our students shared together! See the photos and recap videos.
Lower Primary School Camp Week
Upper Primary School Camp Week
We are so proud of our team for putting together an unforgettable High School Formal! Our students looked stunning as they stepped onto the red carpet for a night of fine dining, dancing, and non-stop fun. Check out these amazing photos from the evening!
Grade 11 Students, Harry Chang, Marco Lam, and Thirak Yim created affordable STEAM kits for under-resourced children in Cambodia. These kits, using chopsticks and 3D-printed custom joints, function like a modular building system—similar to LEGO—allowing students to build their own engineering projects.
"It was awesome to see the kids in Dangkao start building with the kits right away. We wanted to make sure these tools were actually useful for their classes, and seeing them jump into the projects was the best part of the whole trip."
The team developed and donated these kits to a public school in a landfill community in Dangkao to provide essential hands-on learning opportunities where they are needed most. A huge thanks to Mr. Phifer, who helped them out to fabricate custom components for the kits using the school’s 3D printer.
DATE: Thursday 12 March, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
EARLY DISMISSAL: School will conclude at 12:00 pm on Thursday.
This is to allow staff to be available for meetings; there will be no classes in the afternoon.
During the Parent-Teacher Meetings, teachers will be sharing about what students have learned in the class, describing the progress in learning, and identifying the next learning steps. Parent Teacher Meetings are an excellent opportunity to discuss how best to support your child/young person in learning, in partnership with us here at HOPE.
Bookings for both Primary and Secondary students will be facilitated through the Booked website. This allows you to book in with multiple teachers (if necessary), at times that suit you within our staff availability window.
BOOKINGS OPEN ON: Monday, 9 March 2026 at 8:00 am
BOOKINGS CLOSE ON: Wednesday, 11 March, 2026 at 12:00 pm
You will receive an email with login information prior to bookings opening.

Six students from HOPE are heading to Singapore for the Yale MUN conference from March 12–15. It is an incredible opportunity for them to engage with global issues and develop a broader worldview. We are so proud of their hard work—please keep them in your prayers for a safe and successful trip!
The HOPE Academic Journal is a student-driven publication that aims to feature relevant and outstanding academic works of Secondary Students every semester. The HOPE Academic Journal not only celebrates the achievements of our current students but also serves to inspire younger kids by showing what is possible when they apply themselves to their studies and research.
While our upcoming issue will specifically feature a section on Sustainability, we remain open to all content. We encourage you to submit any work you are proud of, regardless of the topic.
Students and staff are welcome to submit or nominate:
Written Work: Essays, research papers, or creative writing.
Creative Media: Songs, artwork, photos, and videos.
Projects: Notable coursework or ‘paperwork’ of academic merit.
Please send your work to the Committee at: journal@hope.edu.kh
All submissions will be reviewed by the editors and approved by the Oversight Board before publication.

From March 15–19, we will host a visiting team representing the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Please join us in prayer for a smooth and productive week. HOPE’s mission would not be possible without the incredible people serving behind the scenes. This month, we are shining a spotlight on Eunbi Hwang and Emily Ecklund. Both Eunbi and Emily have poured their time, heart, and energy into our community, and we are so grateful for their commitment.
This school community is so blessed with your service!
Spread the news and pray that the Lord will send new, passionate staff members to serve this wonderful community. Visit hope.edu.kh/jobs
We have a few openings at HOPE and we would love to welcome more missional families into our community. If you know someone who would love to be a part of HOPE, please have them contact Admissions soon to secure their place. We can't wait to see our community grow! hope.edu.kh/admissions
The Yearbook Team is hard at work on this year’s edition, and we want to make sure it is affordable for every student. We are looking for sponsors who would like to advertise their business in our pages.
If you or someone you know is interested in a sponsorship opportunity, please share this proposal or contact Hector Anica at hector.anica@hope.edu.kh.
