First Annual HOPE English Camp!

As a school, we are always thinking of how we can offer Christ-centered, quality educational services to not just our HOPE community, but the wider community around us. Programs for ELL is a need that we are looking forward to expanding on, and we are starting with this camp.

HOPE will be partnering with ELIC Cambodia to run the English Camp program. They are a very experienced Christian organization that sends teachers all over the world to teach English as a foreign language.

For registration, please fill out this Google Form for each child that will be participating. Spread the word to your neighbors, churches, and friends with the flyers below. Korean, Khmer, and Chinese translations are included!

Spots will be based on first come, first serve.

Student Spotlight

Hospitality Workshop

Last Saturday, the 25th of April, six Grade 11 students attended a hospitality workshop at Sofitel. It was ran by Glion and Les Roches—the world's top institutions for hospitality.

There, students were introduced to Glion and Les Roches's university courses and campus, and they were able to speak to Glion alumni while having dimsum with them.

In the last session, students engaged in a creative group business game. Within 40 minutes, students had to produce detailed business proposals for a new innovative hotel. Each group was given three minutes of presentation, and about seven minutes to answer questions regarding it.

Natalie, a HOPE student, and her group won the game, winning 20% scholarship to Glion / Les Roches.

Other than that, students were welcomed with two snack bar sessions, made new friends, explored the luxurious hotel, received gifts and some even business cards, and got completion certificates.

Starting today, 2 May, HOPE will allow parents and students to be on campus after school. Campus will be open from 2:30pm to 4:00pm for families to enjoy sitting out at Park Cafe (drinks will not be served at this time) and kids are able to play on the playground.

Current pick up procedures still apply. Please wear your parent lanyard, make sure to sign in at the front gate, and then pick up your student before going over to the cafe/playground. Please stay in these designated areas at this time. Covid protocols apply.
