It is upon the Lord’s grace that we can confidently start a new chapter in this community. HOPE strives to provide quality, Christ-centered educational services for families of Christian workers in Cambodia. Still, none of those efforts will make sense without the continuous involvement of every community member: students, parents, staff, board members, and the wider community. Welcome to another exciting year of HOPE.
Our Biblical theme this year is based on Isaiah 26, verse 3.
You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (NLT version)
HIGHLIGHTS
Commissioning Service
The start of the school year is always an exciting time for everyone. The Commissioning Service was a fantastic way to kick off the school year and set the tone for the months ahead. We hosted this event in the presence of students, parents, staff, the board, and local pastors. We officially opened the school gates for everyone to worship and pray for our community, campus, and the academic year. It's a time when everyone comes together to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter and the opportunities it brings.
Orientation Days
Orientation sessions took place on campus for new staff, Families, and Students like any other beginning of the year.
HOPE admitted 16 new staff members this season, and we are delighted to welcome them. It brings us great joy to have them on board this year, knowing that they are fully equipped to fulfill the mission God has called us to.
On the other hand, 36 new families were added to our community, and we officially received them on our orientation day for Primary and Secondary Students held on August 8th. We are always blessed to extend the community with new families coming to HOPE.
Also, middle school and high school students had their own orientation on Wednesday and Thursday to help foster unity and prepare students for the new academic year.
Thank you to those who took part in any of these sessions. We pray that all transitions will be full of joy and peace.
New Coffee Shop!
C9 has launched a new coffee shop on Campus with several snacks and drink options. A colorful mural welcomes everyone to HOPE to enter the Secondary Gate, but guess what? WE NEED A NAME FOR IT!!!
You can get creative and throw some ideas on the possible name of our coffee shop here. The best options will be selected and voted on campus soon!
Remember that new cards are available at the shop, and check their MENU options for this month!
ACADEMICS
Abacus Math
Starting this semester, we will be hosting a 3G Abacus Math Training Program right here on our campus, courtesy of one of our new HOPE parents, Mr. Alex Koh. The 3G Abacus is a time-tested method that enhances mathematical skills, concentration, and mental agility. Designed for children aged 4 and above, this program offers a unique and interactive way to introduce young minds to numbers. Through hands-on activities and exercises, our students will develop essential foundational math skills while having fun. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Alex Koh for bringing this enriching opportunity to our school after hours. Please see his flyer, or contact him by email at alexcurls@gmail.com or Telegram/Whatsapp +855 78 297 852.

CAMPUS
New Phone Number and Attendance Procedures
Every day at school is important for our students. We encourage students and parents to follow our Attendance Procedures. You can find an instructional card available here or at the Front Office in a print version. Also, note that our Smart number has been updated to 093 550 522 with a Telegram chat available.
Parent's weekly Prayer Meeting
We invite all parents to join every Wednesday for our Parent’s Prayer in the Boardroom starting at 8 AM. Together, we can strengthen our faith as a community and extend blessings to every member of HOPE.
Check-In at the Front Office
After 8 am, volunteers and visitors must check in at the Front Office, not the guard stand. They will receive a lanyard upon entering campus, including for assemblies, sports events, parent prayer, or any other activity on campus, except for drop off and pick up. When leaving, please return the lanyard and check out at the Front Office!
After School Hours
By 2:45 pm, all students should be off campus or at an after-school club, organized sports practice/competition, music lesson, or in the playground areas and directly supervised by parents. In case your children need to be at school after those hours, we encourage you to keep them under supervision.
