Rooted in faith, thriving together

As move forward in the school year, HOPE is committed to providing our students with a strong academic foundation. But we also believe that true success is rooted in character. Our school community fosters an environment where students can cultivate both their intellectual abilities and their spiritual growth.

We see in our students' achievements a reflection of the power of God's work in their lives. Through our shared faith and dedication, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and character they need to thrive academically and spiritually.

HIGHLIGHTS

IB and IGCSE Results

We are thrilled to announce the exceptional achievements of two classes!

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Class of 2024: Our recent graduates got their IB results over the summer! Their scores are a testament to their hard work and dedication.

IGCSE Class of 2026: Our current Grade 11 students excelled in their IGCSE exams. We will be honoring these outstanding students at our school assembly on October once their certificates arrive at HOPE.

A dynamic Open House!

Our Open House was an insightful time for both teachers and parents alike.

On Wednesday, we hosted a variety of academic activities. The Grade 12 IB Diploma students showcased their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essays in an exhibition format, presenting their understandings of how knowledge is formed through three carefully selected objects.

Our service expo featured several organizations offering internship and service opportunities, inspiring students to embark on their Vision into Action (VIA) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) projects.

Finally, we had the opportunity to connect with parents at our Meet the Teacher session. These conversations with academic staff allow both parents and students to discuss classroom concerns, questions, and challenges.

Thank you for joining us and making this Open House a memorable event!

What is this? Know more

What is the SAT? The SAT is a standardized test used as an entrance requirement for many Universities in the USA. It is also accepted but not mandatory for Canadian, Singaporean, and Korean Universities.

Who should take PSAT/NMSQT and SAT?

Any students interested who may consider applying to Universities in the USA, Canada, Korea, or Singapore may consider taking the PSAT/NMSQT as preparation and practice for SAT.

SAT should be taken in year 11 and/or 12 in order to submit scores for University applications.

SAT scores are not viewed by UK, European, Scandinavian or Australian Universities. If you know that you will not be applying for Universities in a country that requests SAT scores, you do not need to take the SAT.

Parent volunteers

We invite you to join us in partnering in our students' success. There are different ways to get involved, from classroom support to sports and club leading. All volunteers undergo a thorough screening and onboarding process, aligned with our Safeguarding policy.

CAMPUS

New Library Policy

The library is introducing some new policies to help students and families keep track of their overdue books and return them in a timely manner. This school year, all overdue books must be returned or renewed before a student may take new books. Secondary students may renew books by emailing or speaking to a member of library staff. Primary students must bring the book to the library in order to renew it. Books may be renewed twice for a total loan period of three weeks.

If a book has been overdue for more than a month, it will be marked as lost and a replacement fee will be charged to the student's account through the finance department. The student will then be able to resume borrowing again. If the book is later found, the replacement fee can be reversed as long as it is within the same fiscal year.

Thank you for your support in helping us to reinforce the value of responsibility with our students!

Parent essentials

We have prepared some useful information for parents and put them in a parents essentials card. Information about attendance procedures, how to navigate health conditions and contact information can be found here.

Download a digital copy or request a physical copy at the Front Office available in English, Korean, Chinese, and Khmer languages.

Parent Handbook

Find our updated Parent Handbook here and on the Parent section of the website

Guardianship / Adult Supervision

We recommend that children remain in the care and direct supervision of their parents. If, for some reason, this is not the case (for more than 24 hours a parent will be away), we require that the Academic Office be informed so that the school is aware of who is the contact in the event of an emergency.
