A renewed Hope!
As we step into the Christmas season, let's renew our hope. May this holiday fill your heart with joy, peace, and anticipation for the new year ahead.
HIGHLIGHTS
A Strides for HOPE
Fun in Community
This past Saturday we were blessed with perfect weather and an incredible turnout for our annual Strides for HOPE fundraiser! The event was energizing, bringing together the wider HOPE community to support student scholarships for HOPE families.
We are incredibly grateful to all who participated, whether you laced up your running shoes for the 10K, 5K, or 2K, shopped at our vibrant vendor market, or enjoyed the thrilling carnival games. Your generosity and enthusiasm made a significant impact.
Together, we raised approximately $3,000 dollars, which will directly support our families in times of unexpected financial challenges, ensuring their children can continue their education at HOPE. Relive the fun day by watching this video.
A night to remember! High School Formal 2024
The moon and the sky aligned perfectly for an epic night at our 2024 High School Formal! ✨ Themed "Disco Cloud 9," this year's High School HOPE Formal took place at the breathtaking Celeste Revolving Restaurant.
Organized by students, this event is a great bonding experience outside the classroom, combining the elegance of fine dining with unforgettable memories. Watch this video and see the photos by Ruang Studios here!
Alumni Basketball Friendly
HOPE always welcomes our alumni home with open arms, especially during this Christmas season. It’s truly a joy to see alumni return to school, reigniting their passion for HOPE and the game of basketball. Students and alumni enjoyed a friendly match on the Secondary Court, forging new friendships and reliving old memories. We cherish these opportunities to reconnect with alumni and celebrate the strong bonds we have built together. Oh, and by the way, the current students won the game with a final second 3-pointer!
Live Lunchtime Performance
Last Friday, we were treated to a delightful lunchtime performance featuring two talented groups of students. First, we were captivated by the Khmer Christian dance performed by Nicodemus and Yejun, who learned and practiced alongside the Christian Cambodian Arts ministry. Following this, a group of Secondary School students serenaded us with a beautiful string and clarinet ensemble. We are incredibly proud of our students' passion, skill, and commitment to the arts.

Monday, January 20th will be a dedicated Study Without Teachers Day (SWOT), where students can study independently or seek assistance from teachers. We encourage your child to use the Christmas break to review past papers and prepare for the upcoming exams.
For more details, please refer to the Mock Exam Timetable and further information sent in Mrs. Moon's email last week.
Updated Responsible Behavior Policy
We have recently updated our Responsible Behavior Policy to create a more positive learning environment for everyone. We believe that responsible student behavior is important for the well-being and education of our school community. This policy outlines the expected standards of conduct and provides guidance for students to succeed academically and socially. It also explains how the school will address any situations that may arise. Take a moment to review the policy here.
Prayer and Fasting update
Our Prayer and Fasting Week has been moved to February 3-7 in preparation for Camp Week. As we seek God's guidance and strength for the year ahead, let's remember the words of John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, you will bear much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."Â Find the updated version three of the school calendar with this minor adjustment.
