Having enjoyed the recent holidays and feeling renewed, we now turn our energy towards completing the goals we set out to achieve this year. This period is often marked by a flurry of activity, including exams, approaching deadlines, and significant decisions. We also witness important milestones, such as the completion of major projects, the meeting of crucial deadlines, and the anticipation of year-end celebrations that lie ahead.
With hearts overflowing with gratitude, we reflect on God's faithfulness to HOPE International School. Celebrating 10 remarkable years at this Sensok campus, we are filled with gratitude for His constant presence in the school’s journey. This year holds a particularly special significance as we rejoice in the completion of the loan, a testament to His provision, allowing us to move towards securing our permanent place here, a blessing realized by His grace.
These incredible milestones feel like a true miracle gifted to our community. Join us for a brief ceremony of celebration on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 2:45 pm on campus, to honor God's amazing goodness and steadfast faithfulness. We invite you to share in this heartfelt community celebration, complete with joyful fellowship and an ice cream social.
Every year, it is a delight to gaze at the artistic skills of our students at the Fine Art exhibition and Music Recital. The hall was alive with outstanding artwork, and we were treated to the impressive talents of our young musicians. If you missed it, see all the photos here and look for the highlight video coming soon on our social media.
March was an amazing journey of reading and fun for everyone! Congratulations to Grade 5B, who proudly claimed victory in the reading log challenge with the most reading average reading hours per student logged! Their reward is a celebratory pizza picnic and the special act of planting a tree on our campus.
Over the past month, our school community achieved a total reading time of 3,278 hours, which translates to an average of 11 hours per student.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, $229 USD was raised to bring even more wonderful books to HOPE’s library! A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who supported Book Month so enthusiastically. We pray that every story our students encountered sparked their curiosity and guided them on their journey to discover knowledge and truth.
Get ready for Primary School Swimming Week, taking place from Friday, May 9th to Friday, May 15th. Join us for a Parent University session designed to bridge the gap between school and home. We aim to empower parents to partner with the school in guiding their children through important conversations about sex, health, growth & development, and healthy relationships.
Together, we will explore age-appropriate approaches rooted in Christian values and cultural sensitivity, equipping you with the confidence to support your child’s journey. Let’s partner to ensure your children receive accurate, thoughtful, and faith-aligned guidance in a world full of mixed messages.
Before attending the session, please complete the survey below to help the school understand your needs, interests or questions you may have on the topic.
We would like to inform you of updates to two important school policies related to students. Please take a moment to read them and find them always at hope.edu.kh/policies
We are praying for more qualified Christian educators to join HOPE in any of the following vacancies. Do you know anyone? Share the website or poster right away!
The yearbook team is creating an exciting edition with a theme that explores the evolution of music and technology through the years.
We are seeking sponsors to advertise within its pages. Take a look at this price list and share this opportunity with businesses who believe in investing in our community. All sponsorship proceeds will directly fund the yearbook committee, with the goal of making this year’s edition more affordable for our students and families.
Calling all parents and toddlers not yet enrolled in school! Michaela Fischbacher and Crystal McMaster, who are parents in the HOPE community, have initiated a weekly playgroup on Wednesdays! Join us for fun, fellowship, and play.
Each session begins with free play on the playground for the first 15 minutes, then engaging activities like playdough, paints, and blocks, followed by a circle time with songs and stories. This playgroup is designed to help future students become comfortable on campus, make friends, and ease their transition to Preschool. It's also a wonderful opportunity for stay-at-home parents to connect and build community.
