The feeling of finishing is one of life's most gratifying moments. Joy and peace follow once the work is done, and that feeling is sweeter when it comes with victory. HOPE students have progressed a significant portion of their semester, and their diligent effort has already created a solid foundation towards success.
As the school pauses for the Water Festival (Bon Om Touk) break, let’s renew our energy and prepare to tackle the final weeks of the semester.
The Class of 2027 recently received their IGCSE Certificates, finalizing the completion of their IGCSE Cambridge Courses. HOPE students typically take five core courses in English, Math, and Science, along with three elective courses. Receiving an IGCSE Certificate reflects their dedication, hard work, and readiness for the next stage of their academic journey.
We are proud to commend seven IGCSE scholars this year: Younsang (Harry) Chang, Julia Logan, Eunbi Shin, Vivienne Kennedy, and the Schantz triplets—Alice, Eli, and Gabriel—a dear alumni family. These results highlight some of the exceptional achievements of the class.
Congratulations to all for this outstanding accomplishment! We pray that God’s favor continues to be upon the Class of 2027 as they move forward in the IB Programme in Grades 11 and 12.

Last weekend, our Model United Nations (MUN) Club joined the ISPP conference, alongside more than 15 international schools. HOPE proudly represented Australia, India, Finland, and Côte d’Ivoire.
This year’s theme, “Peace Over Power,” reminded delegates that dialogue, understanding, and cooperation must take priority in a world shaped by conflict and shifting global influence.
Through MUN, our students sharpen their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, research, and public speaking, while gaining a deeper understanding of global issues. We look forward to the upcoming conferences at Northbridge and in Singapore!
With Strides for HOPE just around the corner, students have cast their votes, and this year’s house captains are ready to lead! Last Friday, the houses kicked off preparations for the House System competitions with plenty of team spirit and friendly rivalry.
Meanwhile, the Athletic Council fired up an interhouse basketball tournament for Secondary students, delivering thrilling matches and fierce competition. After a display of fantastic play and determination, Ellison emerged as the champion, defeating Hammond with a final score of 14-6 in the ultimate showdown.

“The hills are alive with the sound of music!” Get ready for a musical treat as our Secondary students proudly present The Sound of Music from December 4–6 at Asian Hope International School.
The Sound of Music is the story of Maria, a cheerful young governess who brings music, happiness, and love to the von Trapp family, while they face hard times in Austria before World War II.
Tickets will be available after the break, with presale starting soon—don’t miss your chance to see this performance!
Grade 7 Social Studies students have been studying about Ocean Processes and how best to manage coastal erosion. Our unit has concluded with a project where students investigated a coastal region that is at risk of erosion and proposed how to best manage and control this erosion problem. This has been a fun project, and they were excited to be able to formally present their models to their classmates and explain their coastal management plans.
Week 14 - Water Festival Break
Week 15 - Proverbs 9:10
Week 16 - Proverbs 10:2-3
The HOPE Community is welcome to use campus facilities daily between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM during the scheduled break.
Adherence to the following guidelines is mandatory to ensure a safe and positive environment for all. Compliance with these specific requirements is non-negotiable:
Supervision is Essential: For student safety, they must be supervised by a parent or guardian to be on campus. Unsupervised students will not be permitted to enter or remain on campus. HOPE defines supervision as being able to see and hear the children in the supervisor's care.

Everyone entering the campus must sign in at the Guardhouse.
Please either wear or present your official Parent or Student ID Card/Lanyard upon entry. If you do not have one with you, you will be denied entry.
